One $10,000 scholarship is available to qualified first-year medical students in Texas who meet the following eligibility requirements:
Eligible applicants are encouraged to complete the application form, submit verification of enrollment that also identifies their expected graduation date, and submit a 250-word essay summarizing what it means to receive this renewable scholarship and how the funds will be utilized.
Recipients receiving the scholarship as an MS1 can renew during the next three consecutive years as long as the recipient remains actively enrolled as a full-time Texas medical student prior to reapplication. Over the course of four years, an individual student will receive a combined total of $40,000.
